Meet Our Inspiring Speaker
Sofiya Oshchebska is an international development and impact investment professional, with 10+ years of experience within the UN system and the Government of Dubai (Expo 2020). At Expo 2020 Sofiya has managed an extensive portfolio of investments in social enterprises across the globe with a focus on sustainability and gender. Prior to that, Sofiya served with the United Nations Development Program working on post-conflict recovery and refugee employment programmes. Sofiya is passionate about promoting sustainable and impact-focused investment approaches across asset classes. She is also a member of the 2022 Female Angels network and is working on providing financial education to female investors.

Impact Investing: Preparing for the COP28
With the upcoming COP28 - 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference - to be held in Dubai, UAE, we all feel the excitement for the huge opportunities coming up during this event.
But also a pressure - how would we actually use it for our benefit?
