As an investor, you understand that when investing at an early stage, angels and funds are looking at the startup team first - their industry expertise, previous experience, technology skills and business acumen. There's somebody standing behind the slides, and the investor should clearly understand who are the people creating this solution. Will they commit for long? Are they strong enough to get through the entrepreneurial path to a potential exit? How to make a proper team Due Diligence of the startup - that will be the overall topic of the upcoming Business Angels Network Meetup.

“Impact Investing: Preparing for COP28”
With the upcoming COP28 - 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference - to be held in Dubai, UAE, we all feel the excitement for the huge opportunities coming up during this event.
But also a pressure - how would we actually use it for our benefit?
While there will be hot disputes in the Blue Zone, you might be going through the Green Zone, attending startup pitches and the numerous booths.
We will talk about preparing for a startup search during COP28 to make sure you're ready to get the max out of it and invest in a handful of impactful companies as a result.
